Process industry
In the process industry, basic materials are made from raw materials. The process industry can be further divided into refineries and petrochemical industry, for example. The raw materials are in turn used to make products in the manufacturing industry. The pharmaceutical and food industries are also part of the process industry.
For the process industry, Engiflow supplies a range of equipment for the safe loading of liquids. These include loading arms and earthing equipment. If loading is done through the top of a tanker, platforms, folding steps and mobile access platforms ensure a safe working area and prevent a potential fall hazard.
Manufacturing industry
In the manufacturing industry, materials are processed into new products. These materials are produced in the process industry. The manufacturing industry in turn can be divided into other sectors such as mechanical engineering, steel construction and transport equipment. It also often includes the production and distribution of energy.
Manufacturing requires large plant and machinery. Operation and maintenance of these often take place at height. This involves a potential fall hazard. Engiflow supplies a range of fall prevention products to prevent this danger. These include safety gates or access and transfer platforms.
Logistics
Logistics is all about getting the right things to the right place at the right time. This starts from mining raw materials to delivering products to customers. It involves both physical transport and -intermediate- storage in distribution centres.
Engiflow supplies safety gates for various applications in logistics. Think of openings in fencing at routes where forklift trucks drive, but also for advanced internal transport systems.
In addition, in cooperation with our modular access system, you can easily create transfer platforms, for example for conveyor belts.
